Christmas 2023: save lovely patterns now

Dear users, dear authors,
You know how it goes. Many of our users work all year round on Christmas gifts and decorations for Christmas, which may also be given as gifts. That's why I'm opening this thread here so that all of you can find lovely ideas, download them, or save them on the wish list with folder sorting option. Have fun with it.

The early bird ... you know the saying. If you want to sit back and relax at Christmas, it’s best to crochet your Christmas items throughout the year. That way you’ll have more time for other things in December. Here are 3 ideas from me that have already brought others a lot of joy. That’s why there are lots of reviews and comments, so you can find out more in advance.

Advent calendar

We crochet 24 little bags from colorful leftover yarn. We hang them on a clothes hanger or decorate them on a tray. Outside of Christmas, you can also place the little bags at guests’ seats for birthdays or Easter—filled with a small sweet treat.



The little stars are included as a printable template.



Snowflakes

A pretty little decoration is always a good idea. You can put this crocheted and stiffened star in a Christmas arrangement, use it as a gift tag, or give it as a little St. Nicholas Day gift.





St. Nicholas boot

Yes, the St. Nicholas boot is an absolute must. On December 6, all well-behaved children, young and old, will be happy to see it. A little surprise during the run-up to Christmas. You can crochet mine in the recipient’s favorite colors. After December 6, it can then be used as decoration. We crochet it from lots of hexagons, which we then crochet together. Add the boot shaft and pom-pom, and it’s done!

If you’d like to have hand-crocheted nativity figures this Christmas, you should start crocheting in good time. Here you can see a shepherd scene with 3 shepherds, sheep, and the Christmas angel.
