This model can be knitted in all sizes. From head circumference 30–33 to 55 cm — for the whole family.

The stitch pattern is explained with pictures in the pattern, making it suitable for experienced beginners to knit. The hat is knitted in rounds from the bottom up.

This “little dwarf hat” is easy to pull on. Thanks to its shape, it adapts to the little head and can also easily be slipped over a sleeping baby. It can be knitted in 3 sizes (0–12 months).

This cable-knit
beanie
is quick and easy to knit using knit stitches and purl stitches.

For an adult hat with a head circumference of 54–60 cm, you’ll need about 70–100 g of yarn with a yardage of 125 m/50 g.

Bamberg is a modern hat for the whole family. The pattern describes 3 sizes from head circumference 50 to 55+. The classic rib pattern is manageable even for inexperienced knitters. With 100g of merino wool (approx. 420m per 100g), you can knit this hat in any size.

You ALWAYS need hats. Everyone has them in their closet: an especially thick, warm one for winter, a windproof one for hiking, a lightweight one for summer. Today I have two examples to introduce that are part of my collection every year.

I hope you have lots of fun knitting them.
Warm regards from Ina

Modern slouchy hat with scarf or loop scarf

It is knitted from cuddly-soft baby alpaca yarn. That makes it especially soft, lightweight, warming, and breathable. The modern beanie shape especially appeals to young women and girls. The hat is light enough that when you no longer need it (for example, when you go into a warm department store), you can quickly tuck it into your bag, folded up very small.

Felted hat with loop scarf

Here’s another insider tip for anyone who gets cold easily. No cold wind gets through a felted hat. The felted wool maintains a pleasant temperature. Excess heat is simply released outward through the felted wool fibers. You can make it with or without a pom-pom. The edge made from colorful variegated wool is sewn onto the hat after it has been felted in the washing machine. A scarf or loop scarf in the same yarn quality goes well with it.

This baby hat with a shawl collar is very popular—among knitting moms and kids alike. My granddaughters loved wearing it. The hat keeps both the head and neck warm, and it doesn’t have to be pulled over the head—something many babies really don’t like.

It’s easy to knit, and everything is explained very clearly.
