Hard-working little helpers: How’s it going?

dear little helpers,
What are you working on? Are you hard at work today?

Things are going well for me right now. I’m almost done with my Easter eggs. There are still 3 left, waiting for a new outer shell.

I’m waiting for my photo box so I can take some good pictures for the next pattern.
Other than that, I’m working on a scarf and an amigurumi. 

This gloomy, wet weather is really getting on my nerves, so I upgraded my system... and it’s working again!

I’m knitting cotton socks with a lace pattern.

Today I knitted quite diligently on my new leftover sock yarn project (the pattern appealed to me so much that I threw my good intentions—to finish what I’d already started—right out the window!) and started a crocheted mini sheep, whose puff stitches really got on my nerves because the crochet hook kept slipping out of the stitch.

is there a trick for cluster stitches?

The first 3 months of the temperature blanket are done. As you can see, it was quite mild here in winter and quite cool at the start of spring—so, in a way, everything’s pretty much the same.

Right now I’m crocheting cluster stitches again—this time the “regular” ones, where you close off several loops at once. With the other ones, you had to pull the hook out of the last half double crochet, then insert it into the first half double crochet and pull the loop through, which was tricky for me. If you want to close off several loops together, you just have to be careful not to accidentally insert the hook into a single strand (pull the loops up high enough!).

Today I sewed for KT again: bunnies and dolls, and I have a knitted teddy bear on my needles, also for KT.

Since the temperature here isn’t changing much, I’ve crocheted the first 100g skein into the temperature blanket—the yellowish-green one for 11 to 15 degrees—but luckily I bought two right away, because it won’t really change much over the next few days either.

I “quickly” knitted a pair of fingerless gloves… I spent two days knitting them… Using merino sock yarn—something light for the next few days…

I used just under 40g of yarn.... So, just “leftovers”... 

Your wrist warmers turned out really pretty.

Veronika, hopefully the temperatures will change a little soon so you can crochet with a new color for once.

Not much is happening on my end right now. When I get home from work, I’m completely wiped out. So I’m just working on little things that don’t require too much attention.

I’ve made lots of crochet-covered eggs and ornaments for the Easter tree. And the doll kitchen has gained a few pieces.
