Thank you! I wish the same for you and everyone else here, too!
If the rain turns to snow after all, I’ll build a snowman. Well, probably just a little snow gnome at most—if anything at all.
On Sunday, we’re invited to brunch at some dear friends’ place. Everything’s at ground level there, and you can park right outside the door, so we’ve actually made plans to go—we’ll see how it turns out.
Other than that, I don’t have anything else in the works besides the thermal blanket, so I’ll have to pick out something new.
Thanks for the weekend wishes. I’d love to join in on those.
It started snowing here today, and I think that’s great. That definitely calls for some walks. Let’s see what else comes up—I’ll definitely be knitting.
Tomorrow we’re going to take the kids for a stroll around town and then grab some burgers at a diner :). And on Sunday, we want to build some bird feeders :D.
Thanks, too—I wish everyone here a wonderful weekend as well. I won’t be doing much—if anything at all—because my bones just aren’t cooperating. So I could have easily done without this weather, even though it does look pretty when everything’s covered in a layer of white or looks like someone emptied a giant bag of cotton balls :-)
I’ll keep knitting my blanket; I’m still in the increasing-stitches phase :-)
Have a great weekend, everyone.
I’m working on my color-themed project and hope to move into the final phase this weekend.
This will be my first pattern this year, and I plan to post many more. Last year, I actually only managed to post three new ones. My priorities were clearly elsewhere. That’s changed now, and I’m diving right in with lots of enthusiasm.
Thanks, Josefa! I wish the same for you, the CP team, and everyone here on the forum. Have a restful, peaceful, and creative weekend. I really love winter when I don’t have to go outside, and maybe it’ll even start snowing after all. It would be cold, though—we’ll see. Best regards
Thanks, Josefa, have a lovely weekend too, and the same to all the fellow readers.
I’ll also keep knitting on my project for the color challenge. I thought about it for a long time and kept discarding my ideas. Now I need to get moving.
We’re having guests over tomorrow for a late breakfast, so there’s still quite a bit to prepare.
It’s cold here; let’s see if we get a little more snow.
Thanks, Josefa, I wish the same for you and everyone else here too.
It’s just cold and gray here. We’re not supposed to get any snow.
Right now, I’m crocheting the Queen and her Guard (pattern from here) for a dear colleague. I crocheted them once before for a friend a while back, and she was so thrilled. Now she’s getting the two of them as well.
I want to finish them this weekend. And then we’ll see what I do next. Maybe I’ll knit socks again, or maybe start on the Easter decorations and Easter gifts.
If the weather allows, a walk with a friend tomorrow, followed by coffee and a delicious slice of cake.
Kind regards
Marina
After several attempts, I’m knitting a large, colorful coaster.
I wanted to crochet it at first, but then the pattern would’ve only worked in the round.
I didn’t like that.
There’s so much work piling up here. Sometimes I don’t even know where to start.
Maybe I’ll just cook up something nice in the kitchen first.
The work isn’t going anywhere—it’ll still be there later.
I hope to finish one or two unfinished projects this weekend.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend—warm regards from the 🌳 forest 🌳
Since it wasn’t exactly snowman weather, I spent the weekend sorting through and organizing my stash. I keep all my yarn, fabrics, and craft supplies in plastic boxes that stack up like a tower of drawers, and they’re all packed to the brim, so it’s time to clear some space.
Right now, our place still looks like a bomb went off, but I’ll be done tomorrow—or the day after at the latest. Then everything will be sorted, along with the corresponding patterns and instructions it was originally meant for, or a note about what I planned to make with it.
But goodness, what plans I had… slightly megalomaniacal, I’d say. 🤣🤣 Or maybe I’ll live to be at least 137 years old....
