Pencil toppers are a great project for the tiniest amounts of fabric scraps, and they’re quick to finish. That way you can crochet a little pencil topper whenever you have a moment and always have a small gift or little reward on hand.

Dog, Cat, Mouse  fit on regular-thickness pencils and colored pencils. For thicker pencils, you can use the same pattern. You just need to widen the body (= the pencil sleeve) by adding a few more stitches. The head will definitely fit on thicker pencils too.

These cute Easter bookmarks are also crocheted in no time—a quick activity for in between. Little bookworms will be delighted to find these Easter animals in their Easter baskets.

And since we’re already talking about Easter: How about some Easter decorations made from leftover yarn? The Heartfelt Little Chickens are named that because their bodies and feet are heart-shaped. They’re very easy and quick to crochet. They look absolutely charming on an Easter branch!

1) The “Lorelei” bookmark is crocheted in one piece, so you only need to weave in the starting and ending ends. You can also use it to make gift ribbons, napkin rings, or table garlands; just vary the length accordingly.

2) Thanks to the slightly thicker yarn and the detailed pattern with crochet chart, these cute egg cozy hens are crocheted in no time—with their lovely retro look, they remind us of Grandma’s breakfast table.

3) This pretty decorative chain is crocheted in one piece and looks great as a table decoration. Once you get the hang of it, it goes very quickly.

If you have 60 minutes somewhere—whether on vacation, in the doctor’s waiting room, or on the train—it’s nice to have a small craft project with you. That way you can make good use of the time and create something beautiful along the way. Here are 2 suggestions for you. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards from Ina
