Would you like to create new and tried-and-true patterns for dolls, doll clothes, and doll accessories? You can also use scraps —such as leftover yarn or fabric scraps —for these projects. Get started now.

Doll parents of all ages are absolutely delighted when they can dress their favorites in new outfits. This colorful raglan cardigan with the matching hat is very easy to knit from leftover yarn. It fits dolls or even teddy bears measuring 43–50 cm.

Even mini dolls or stuffed animals like to sleep in a sleeping bag at night. With this knitting pattern, you get two different models that are very easy to make from leftovers. Also suitable for beginners with some knitting experience.

Of course, you can also knit a sleeping bag for larger dolls or teddy bears (40–50 cm). It will even fit a newborn. The sleeping bag is knitted from merino wool in an especially warm pattern. You should have a little knitting experience for this one.

I have a few small dress-up dolls living in my home. My granddaughter has some too, of course. I enjoy crocheting or knitting clothes for our dolls. And you can do that too. In  my shop, I have lots of pretty patterns for crocheting or knitting.

Today I’d like to introduce you to some doll clothes for male fashion dolls, who are often somewhat neglected. But the boys need plenty of clothes to change into, too, so they can look their best with their fashion-conscious girlfriends.


In this knitted turtleneck sweater with a Norwegian pattern is “he” always dressed in a sporty-chic style on cold winter days. It comes with a matching beanie. Since this was knitted with gradient sock yarn, the pretty pattern emerges all on its own.



There’s also sporty men’s fashion for summer, this time crocheted: a V-neck shirt and summer pants. You can crochet the pants in a short or long version and with or without pockets.


And for anyone who loves traditional costumes, the traditional costume ensemble is, of course, a fashion must-have! “He” is wearing authentic short lederhosen with calf socks, paired with a traditional shirt (the pattern also explains how to sew it), a traditional jacket, and a traditional hat with a feather. And of course, a stein of beer is a must!

Knitted Doll Shoes

Easy for doll moms to put on thanks to the rolled edge. The shoes are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles. Start with the sole, then continue working in rounds upward. You can also use leftover yarn, since you don’t need much if you make them colorful. The crocheted decorative seam is optional.
