Dear users, dear authors,
How many Christmas projects have you completed in total?

Please upload only your own photos.

I only made two Christmas gifts myself this year.

One was a pair of felt shoes for my husband, and the other was a headband for my son-in-law.

I knitted a Santa Claus costume for my grandson’s teddy bear, crocheted two moose keychains for my housekeeper’s children, made various gift tags, and crafted a few little angels for my own window decorations.

These Christmas gifts for my friend have already gone down well:

I managed to finish a hat for my daughter-in-law at the last minute:

And I knitted these clothes for my two granddaughters and the dolls:

Now I have some wrist warmers on the needles for my son.
I’m also finishing a sweater for my almost 7-year-old granddaughter.
I’ll show you both in the next few days. Yes, there are a lot of hand-knitted gifts for Christmas this year.

Thanks, Ruth. :) I’m not quite done yet... now it’s time for the final push.

You’ve been busy.

I quickly sewed some matching gift wrapping today. Now all the gifts are under the tree.

I’m still working on the Christmas gifts: Because of my husband’s hospital stay and rehabilitation, I’ve fallen behind. I did manage to finish a few things, though:

 Japanese gloves for my grandson

His dad got a pair too, but I forgot to take a picture of them.
For his mom, I made wrist warmers and a small scarf (Sophie’s Scarf)—unfortunately, no picture of those either.
His little brother got “Cord the Crocodile” (pattern by roticanai):

I knitted a scarf for my older daughter:

and for her mother-in-law a pair of sofa or bed slippers:

Now I’m working on patchwork slippers for my friend in Norway (the second one is half done)

My sister is getting the “Venice” placemat in DF (picture coming soon—just need to weave in ends).
I also crocheted a few tea lights and snowflakes (pattern by elke-eder) for the decorations at the Advent service, as well as 8 “Wings” bookmarks (patterns also by elke-eder)

Christina, you really showed a lot of creativity with those gifts. Each one is more beautiful than the last.

Thanks, Petra. I still have lots of plans, but will my hands cooperate? I’m afraid I’ll have to do something about that…

Wow, Christina, that’s really impressive—all the Christmas gifts you’ve knitted. In the final stretch, I also realized I needed a day off. It really took a toll on my arms.

Oh, you’ve all been very hard at work. This forum post made me stop and think for a moment about what homemade gifts I’ve given. Quantity-wise, it’s not that much, but every piece is still made with love. Besides, not everyone is happy to receive homemade gifts.

The biggest project was a warm cardigan in fall colors for my friend Andrea. (She’s wearing a mask in the photo because her whole family tested positive for COVID-19.)

For my youngest granddaughter, I sewed a scarf, a dress, and pants.

That’s it.

Best regards, Ina

It’s impressive how much time and effort you put into your crafts and handmade gifts.

Oops, it looks like Andrea got lost on the internet after all. Here’s the cardigan mentioned above in its entirety.

Best regards, Ina
