Thanks for asking…
…they say it’s going to snow a lot here in Bavaria 🌳 …fresh wool arrived in the mail today…what could be better❓
Best regards 🖖 and have a wonderful weekend 🌸
That sounds great—I hope so too!
It’s supposed to rain here, but I’d prefer snow—then I could build a snowman.
But I have plenty of crocheting to do; I’m barely keeping up with my Advent calendar. And I still have some annoying paperwork to take care of.
I hope you have a great weekend, too. I’d love to have some snow—can someone please send some up north? I have tickets to a drag show and am going there tomorrow with my daughter. She’s never seen anything like this before, and I’m curious to see how she likes it. Best regards
We’re having a family dinner tomorrow, and I’m not sure if I’m coming down with a cold. I kind of feel sick. We’ll see—either family or the couch and some yarn.
It’s supposed to snow here; it already started today. But we’re meeting up with friends on Sunday, so I hope the snow from above will take a break then, please.
Tomorrow I’m planning to bake cookies, and I absolutely have to keep knitting my granddaughter’s sweater.
I’m also having a lovely third weekend of Advent.
My embroidery machine is chugging away—this is my second attempt at my big Secret Santa project, since the first one didn’t go quite as I’d hoped. The machine started squeaking—a sign that something was jammed inside—so I stopped it, opened it up, and lo and behold, a tiny thread had gotten caught in the lower knife. I put everything back together, but apparently I wasn’t paying close enough attention, because all of a sudden my Diva wouldn’t cooperate anymore. The bobbin case had shifted just a tiny bit when I put the needle plate back on, and right away it started grumbling and complaining—until it finally refused to work at all. I took everything out and turned the machine off. I set everything up again from scratch, and today it’s embroidering as if nothing ever happened—I told you, she’s a diva :-)
Hi everyone,
I’m sewing together and embroidering a sweater for my granddaughter, making mittens for my daughter (she asked for them because her hands always get so cold when she’s pushing the stroller), and knitting bed socks for my 97-year-old mom, who’s always cold. The hat and gloves for my grandson are already done. I’ll wrap everything up nicely—let’s see what I can get done this weekend. The fireplace is already crackling, so it’s nice and cozy in the house.
Inge, I know what you mean—I have a sewing machine like that too; it only sews when it feels like it.
I wish you all a wonderful third Sunday of Advent
