With this baby jacket and the matching hat, a doll baby (43–50 cm) is dressed just as sweetly as a real baby. The jacket is knitted top down with raglan shaping and is fully buttoned at the side.

Everything is clearly explained in the pattern. Some knitting experience is recommended.

This sweater is the same size and is knitted in a similar way. However, it has a side button placket, making it easy to pull over the head. The sweater—and the baby jacket as well—fit not only dolls measuring 43–50 cm, but also premature babies or small newborns.

Moni, when are we finally going to get the Schlüttli for adults? I’m having hot flashes and really need something I can quickly take off!

@Anja, how about a buttonless cardigan with a belt? It’s also quick to put on and take off again. Definitely faster than having to button it up. It works for me ;-)

Raglan is a wonderful thing. You knit it in one piece and have no seams. It’s lovely to knit and fun to make. Here are two examples from me. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards from Ina

Warm Poncho

It is knitted as a top-down raglan. We start at the turtleneck and finish at the hem. Only the beginning and end threads need to be woven in. You have two ways to wear it (see picture). The poncho keeps you reliably warm and is quick to throw on.

Turtleneck Sweater for Dolls

You can knit pretty little turtleneck sweaters for the dolls from a few scraps of leftover yarn. Also as a top-down raglan, with a decorative cable at the front. The length of the sweaters is variable.
