Hand-crocheted hand puppets make a great Christmas gift! They’re sure to be tried out right away, sparking imaginative stories along the way.

An angel, of course, makes a particularly good gift under the Christmas tree. Add a little devil to the mix, and ideas for stories featuring
the little angel and the little devil immediately spring to mind. The little devil keeps trying to tempt the little angel into naughty pranks, but the little angel remains steadfast.

If the hand puppets are for your grandchild,
Grandma can’t be left out, of course. Maybe you’ll make her look a little like you so the child recognizes you in her? Or you can make Grandma exactly as shown in the picture. Either way, the pattern gives you plenty of freedom for your own ideas.

Well, and
Kasperl is, of course, the main character! If the child doesn’t have a Kasperl yet, you absolutely have to crochet one for them. For his costume, you can use colorful gradient yarn or lots of colorful leftover yarn, because Kasperl definitely has to be colorful!
