A gift with heart and from the heart - that’s what these washcloths or potholders are. This little detail always brings a smile to your face, because it visibly comes with lots of love.

You can knit the cloth as a potholder, washcloth, or dishcloth. You decide that by the thickness of the cotton. You can knit from a stitch chart, which is very easy. The pattern also contains no abbreviations and is written simply.

If you prefer to crochet and haven’t been at it for very long, you’ll enjoy this ladybug oven mitt. It’s easy to crochet and is sure to be admired. You can use it to add a pop of color to your own kitchen - or maybe you already know who you can make happy with it.

Small knitting projects that use only knit and purl stitches are ideal for beginners. Of course, it’s especially motivating when the finished knitted piece looks much harder to knit than it actually was ;-) That’s why beginners especially enjoy these motif cloths, which can be used as washcloths or dishcloths.

Here I’m showing you two different motifs; you can find many more in my shop. In all of these patterns, the rows are written out stitch by stitch, so you can make the cloths with ease.

My suggestions are aimed at beginner knitters with perseverance.

I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina

Knitted Blanket with Fringe
This blanket is knitted using only knit stitches. The beautiful colorful pattern appears all by itself, because you can knit up all your leftover yarn (as long as it is the same or approximately the same weight). The more colors you use, the more colorful the play of colors will be. At the end, we don’t have to weave in any ends because we knot the yarn ends into fringe.

Featherlight Loop

For this project, too, we knit only knit stitches. So it’s super easy. However, you do need a little perseverance, because the high-quality, soft yarn is made of cashmere and silk and is very fine. It creates a soft loop scarf that you won’t want to take off. I wear one almost every day because it keeps my neck and nape so pleasantly warm. You hardly notice its weight, which is why I call it “Featherlight Loop.”

Quickly whip up a little gift for Christmas.
Maybe a scarf or a dragon’s tail for your friend.
The “Julchen” is perfect for this. The pattern isn’t hard to crochet and is absolutely beginner-friendly. Curious?

Or maybe you’d rather make something for your feet.
Who doesn’t love sitting on the couch in thick socks and enjoying the evening?
The Easy-Soks 11 are perfect for that. Easy to crochet and finished in no time.

HanLei knitted shawl

For this shawl, you only need to know how to knit knit stitches.
The final points with short rows are a small challenge.
But you can also leave them out if it gets too complicated.
Just start knitting and give it a try.

For New Year’s, people like to give a good bottle of wine or sparkling wine as a gift. In this original “Lucky Pig” Bottle Cover, which can also be crocheted by beginners, it makes an especially great impression, because at the same time you’re wishing lots of luck and success for the coming year. For the lucky pig, you’ll need about 100 g of pink cotton yarn.

And here’s another little pig to give as a gift and wish someone luck: Lucky Pig Felix has dressed up especially nicely to deliver his good wishes: He’s wearing a fine black vest with a top hat, to which he has attached a four-leaf clover. In his little paws he’s holding a horseshoe and a fly agaric mushroom, all symbols of good luck. Well, if that doesn’t bring luck!

And here’s one more little pig that not only brings luck, but is also extremely useful and sustainable: the Lucky Pig Dish Sponge is crocheted with sponge yarn. Since it mainly consists of circles, it’s very easy to make. The finished sponge can be washed in the washing machine at 60° and reused again and again.

It’s already getting colder outside again, and maybe you’ve always wanted to crochet yourself a beautiful shawl but don’t quite dare because you’re still a beginner? No problem. With my crochet pattern for the asymmetrical shawl Calor you can do it too. The only stitches used in the pattern are chain stitches and double crochet, and yet they create a beautiful, simple pattern mix that lets you conjure up a lovely crocheted shawl in no time.

This headband is suitable for beginners. You only need the basic stitches - single crochet, double crochet, and half double crochet.

The pattern only spans one row

So you can wrap even small Christmas gifts beautifully, I’ve created this pretty Christmas gift bag.

The bag is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 16.5 x 6 x 20 cm. With a little crafting experience, you can make it quickly and easily. Thanks to the detailed instructions, the bag is also very well suited for beginners.

Dear all, I'd like to introduce you to my ROSALIE RABBIT here. She was my very first own creation. Back then, I was practically still a beginner myself. That's why I think this pattern is also very well suited for beginners.

ROSALIE RABBIT

This little fellow here should also bring beginners a lot of joy. A truly lovable little guy.

GEORGIE MONKEY

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting.

Best regards,
Michaela
