For us, the most popular and reliable remedy for cold feet is
felted shoes. I knit them for the whole family in all kinds of shapes and colors. Everyone has their own preferences. For winter, I’d like to introduce you to two especially warm patterns.
I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

One-Step Felt Booties
This is my favorite winter style because the felted shoes are knitted in one piece. The washing machine does the felting. Then you need to add a non-slip sole: either coat the soles with rubber or sew a leather sole underneath. You can read exactly how it all works, along with my sources, in the pattern. You can make them in all sizes.
Felt Boots with a Rolled Cuff
This style is also very nice and a bit more creative than the previous one. Here, the rolled cuff is knitted separately from thick leftover yarn. You can also knit the rolled cuff using multiple strands. I always like variegated yarns for this part, too. The colors should match the felting wool. The felted shoe is knitted and felted in the washing machine. The rolled cuff is sewn on. Of course, the non-slip sole goes underneath here as well.
