Thanks, Josefa—I wish the same for you and everyone here too.
It’s supposed to be a beautiful, sunny day here on Saturday. I’ll be doing quite a bit of work in the garden. After that, I’m invited to a friend’s 60th birthday party.
On Sunday, I’ll try out a new bread recipe, go for a walk if the weather permits, and keep crocheting my Christmas gifts.
Kind regards
Marina
Thanks, Josefa—I wish the same for you, and for everyone else here as well.
We don’t have any plans. I’m on sick leave because of my hand anyway, but we can go for walks. Just relax and take it easy.
Since I can’t do any crafts right now, it’s a bit boring, and I have to figure out what else I can do with my left hand.
For example, finishing the diamond painting for my mom—it’s almost done.
We don’t have much planned. There’s a garage sale on one of the streets tomorrow. Maybe we’ll go there and browse a bit. On Sunday, we want to go for a walk with a friend.
I bought a new magazine with knitting patterns today. I’d like to leisurely flip through it on the sofa. Maybe do a little knitting.
Andrea, wishing you continued recovery, and everyone a sunny, relaxing weekend with plenty of time for knitting.
Get well soon, Andrea!
And I wish everyone a wonderful weekend, too!
The weather here is supposed to be a bit mixed—cool and wet. Tomorrow evening I’m going out with a friend; other than that, I don’t have any plans. I still need to finish clearing off the balcony—but there’s not much left—and my scarf is finished, so I’ll start something new. I’ll take my time deciding what to work on next.
I also wish everyone a wonderful weekend and a speedy recovery to anyone who’s sick. Nothing special is happening here either—I’m struggling with my nerve inflammation again, and to make matters worse, I’ve also been hit with some stomach and intestinal issues, so things are very quiet and low-key around here.
Oh oh, first of all, I wish everyone who’s sick or in need a speedy recovery. Just take it easy and hang in there—things will definitely get better soon.
We’re about to head over to my sister’s for coffee. Before we have cake, I have to fix her computer. That way, I can combine business with pleasure.
Other than that, I feel like I have 1,000 craft projects I’ve started that I’d like to work on. Some lovely new fabrics are waiting for me, along with the half-finished felt shoes I ordered and my current pattern… well, just the usual creative chaos. The weather’s nice, too, so I’ll definitely have to go for an autumn walk.
I wish everyone with a disability a speedy recovery and rest. And of course, I hope everyone has a lovely, cozy weekend doing whatever brings you joy.
It’s miserable and cold here today—not the kind of weather to go outside. So it’s time to sit at the computer and snuggle up in a blanket. And, of course, do some knitting. Tomorrow will be cold too, but maybe dry enough to go for a walk.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone, and wishing a speedy recovery to those who are under the weather!
Today was knitting day again: 64 women gathered at the Alte Mühle and really got their needles going. I (finally) finished my Christmas gift for my older daughter—I just had to crochet a border around it. After lunch, I dove into the adventure of knitting a Japanese glove. Thanks to a mistake in the pattern, I had to reknit the little thumb twice…
Tomorrow, after the church service with Communion and coffee, I’ll visit my husband at the rehab clinic and hope that, besides having coffee, we’ll also be able to go for a little walk.
