Oh, Halloween is already on Monday! Do you still need some last-minute decorations? Here are a few suggestions you can crochet this weekend using your leftover yarn.
The Halloween lantern really works up quickly, so it can still be finished in time. All you need is an empty jam jar and some black cotton yarn. The jar can be filled with candy and given to children who come asking for “trick or treat.” Once the candy has been eaten, you can put an LED tea light inside and have a wonderfully spooky Halloween lantern.

The two
ghost finger puppets are also quick to crochet from leftover yarn and make great little gifts for Halloween kids. (It doesn’t always have to be candy—the ghosts are definitely sweet enough!)

And finally,
Ferdi and Gerdi, the two cute bats, which can also be made quickly from a few bits of leftover yarn. They are about 12 cm tall, and the wings have a wingspan of about 16 cm. Wire is worked into the arms so that the wings can also be closed.
