For this pattern, I chose a cable pattern. You should be familiar with a set of double-pointed needles (or short circular needles) and know how to knit and purl.
The pattern guides you round by round. I’ve included a size chart so you can easily recreate the hat in any size using any yarn.
To go with the hat, there’s this knitted collar. It’s a lovely alternative to an infinity scarf or a regular scarf. It keeps the neck and shoulder area nice and warm all the way around.
The roll-neck collar is knitted with circular needles, and if you’re using yarn with a yardage of 85 m / 50 grams, you’ll need about 150 grams.
