Dear users, dear designers,
do you know the color fuchsia? It’s a very bright purple-rose-pink. Would you want to wear it? Or maybe use it as a color for decorations?
I think the color is beautiful—both for decor and for clothing.
I crocheted this little scarf a while back. It goes great with my shirts in the summer when it’s a little cooler. But I also really love this color on girls’ hats.
I really like it, too—I have quite a few things in various shades of bright pink. Years and years ago, I went to one of those color analysis sessions; I’m a “Summer” type, and those bluish tones really suit me.
I also love yellow and orange, but unfortunately, they don’t look as good on me.
It’s not my color—it doesn’t suit me and makes me look pale. I also prefer warm fall colors. Or shades of turquoise—I can almost never resist them when I see something in that color.
I do like most shades of red, but this one is somehow too “intense” for me—or too pink.
Even as a little girl, I had a total aversion to pink. I’m okay with pink now, but I think I’ll still keep my distance from fuchsia :)
(Though I do like it on other people!)
I just knitted a sweater in fuchsia-colored mohair and half brioche for my daughter-in-law. I got a lot of positive feedback, especially because of the color!
