Colorful fruits and vegetables make a lovely fall decoration, especially for Thanksgiving. But they don’t have to be real—they can just as easily be crocheted from leftover yarn. (Later on, the children will love using them in their play kitchen or pretend store!)

You’ll find 12 different types of fruit in this colorful
fruit crate: apples, pears, lemons, oranges, peaches, grapes, kiwis, plums, bananas, cherries, melon and pineapple. They’re all quite easy to crochet, so they’re suitable even for beginners. To make them look realistic, it’s important not to use colors that are too bright.

And here’s a
basket full of vegetables: carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, eggplant, corn, kohlrabi, leeks and cauliflower. Here, too, choosing the right colors is key.
