A wide variety of materials were used for the nativity scene with shepherds and a Christmas angel: The shepherds were crocheted with colorful cotton yarn, and silver glitter yarn was used for the angel’s robe. The sheep’s fleece is made of plush wool, and the shepherds’ hair and beards are made of curly doll’s wool.  This way, you can use lots of different leftover yarn for the nativity figures and crochet your own unique Christmas nativity scene.
