In fall and winter, they’re an absolute must: beautiful, soft tops that keep us warm and look good at the same time. Here are two suggestions from me.

I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina

Universal Poncho

It is knitted in one piece as a raglan from the top down. The length is variable. You have 2 ways to wear it. The color gradients come directly from the beautiful marled yarn.

Cardigan for Dolls

We can slowly start thinking about fall wardrobes for the dolls, too. The doll cardigan is also knitted in one piece as a raglan from the top down. The length is variable. And it only takes a very small amount of yarn, which you’re sure to find in your leftover stash. The doll mommies will be delighted.

Sweater "Zauberland" features a simple pattern that can be worn by both women and men. It is almost perfect for fall and winter.

You can make it in any size you like and adjust the length and width individually.
The pattern also includes a matching hat, which can also be made in all different sizes. Everything is explained in detail with written instructions, photos, and crochet charts.

The amount of material needed depends on the hook size/yarn weight and the sweater length. Gray example shown here: women’s size S/36 (plan approx. +200 m for each additional size)
  • Here, 325 g = 975 m → Milano Classic with a yardage of 300 m/100 g was used
  • Collar - example here: 50 g = 150 m (amount used naturally depends on the collar height)
  • Crochet hook to match the yarn, here size 4
  • 4 stitch markers
Hat: Example here: head circumference = 58 cm, hat height = 22 cm.
  • Here, 65 g = 195 m → Milano Classic with a yardage of 300 m/100 g was used
  • Crochet hook to match the yarn, here size 4

Or
Sweater "Max or Maxima - Women or Men" Also a simple pattern and cozy for fall and winter. The sweater is worked as a top-down raglan (RVO) and can of course also be made individually in any size. This pattern includes every step word for word, detailed photos, and a crochet chart.

The amount of material needed depends on the hook size/yarn weight and the sweater length, so it can vary a lot. Example: women’s size S/36. Example: light blue women’s sweater:
  • Without collar = approx. 2150 m – 4-ply yarn (300 m of that for each sleeve)
  • With collar = approx. 2400 m – 4-ply yarn (300 m of that for each sleeve)
For each additional double size (40/42 – 44/46.....), plan at least 300 m more yarn each.-
  • 4 stitch markers
  • Crochet hook to match the yarn (here hook size 3.5)

This sweater for 2- to 3-year-olds is knitted from sock yarn, which gives it a special, unique character. The collar keeps the neck nice and warm, and the button placket makes it easy to put on and take off. My grandchildren love this sweater; now the younger one is wearing it.

The sweater has virtually no seams. The sleeves are knitted on, and the body is worked in the round from the bottom up. Everything is well explained, making it easy to follow.

RAKS in sizes 92–140 is a raglan shirt that can be sewn from jersey or summer sweat . Sweatshirt fabric also works—in this case, please always choose the “regular” fit and, if necessary, go up one size.

Here’s what the pattern includes, or how you can sew it:

  • with or without a hood
  • slim and regular fit
  • regular hood or pointed hood, optionally with “dragon spikes”
  • with or without a collar
  • with or without pockets
  • 3 pocket styles: kangaroo, side pocket, seam pocket
  • straight hem or high-low hem
  • finished with or without cuffs
  • can be sewn without cuffs
  • sleeves with or without panels
  • sleeve panels with biker pintucks
  • faux piping
  • long-sleeve shirt or T-shirt

The sewing pattern is included as a PDF file to assemble and as a plotter file.

You could definitely use a simple oversized sweater for the cold season. Crochet it in your favorite color or choose a colorful gradient yarn cake. You can wear the Pamela sweater for many occasions and with any outfit.

Check out my store, Blickfang-Design, where you’ll find the crochet pattern with detailed instructions on how to make the Pamela sweater.

The cold season is starting, and it’s time to get the cozy sweaters out of the closet again…
Are you still missing one?
No problem! With the beginner-friendly knitting pattern for my cozy sweater, you’ll knit yourself a new one in no time! The special thing about this model is: You don’t need to sew on any sleeves! The sweater is knitted in two pieces (front and back) and then closed at the seams.
This sweater is one size, from size 36 to 42. In the example image, you can see the fit for the different sizes.

My Gobi poncho is cozy and warm because it’s knitted with DK yarn. You’ll need 400 g plus 100 g in a contrasting color. The simple cable pattern in the center creates the wow effect.

It’s suitable for all sizes, and since it’s knitted from the top down, it’s easy to adjust.

My SamYak shirt is great to wear as a slipover or vest.
It’s not too thick, so it doesn’t add bulk. The patterns are explained in detail, and there are size details from S to XL.
