Felting is something really wonderful. Felting wool is very affordable, warming, temperature-regulating, breathable, and you can use it to make lovely warm slippers. In my shop you’ll find
many variations. Today I’d like to introduce two of them to you in more detail:
Felted boots with a roll collar for shoe sizes 37 to 44
First we knit the felted shoe and then put it in the washing machine for felting. Then it is pulled into shape. The roll collar is knitted separately from a matching yarn and later sewn onto the felted shoe. We make the sole non-slip. If you would like to make this model in children’s sizes too, please choose the corresponding pattern in my shop.

Felted boots with a colorful crochet collar
This is also a lovely model that children really like. Here we crocheted the colorful boot shaft directly onto the felted shoe. That way, the finished blank goes into the washing machine. The entire boot is then made of felt. You save yourself the step of sewing on the roll collar, though the collar is a little stiffer than the knitted roll collar. The children can simply slip into them even with thick jeans on and dash off.
I hope you have lots of fun making them and always have warm feet.
Warm regards from Ina
