Thanks, Josefa, and I wish everyone here a lovely weekend too.
Here, after two years, we’re celebrating the Kirm again this year, but I don’t know yet whether I’ll walk down to the Plan. Zwiefl- and Pedderlesplootz aren’t available until Harvest Festival, after all.
Thank you—I wish the same for everyone!
September already has a distinctly autumnal feel to it, but we’re still enjoying plenty of sunshine and temperatures around 30 degrees. Apparently, it’s actually supposed to rain here tomorrow—I’ll let myself be surprised.
Normally, we’d be slowly getting ready to spend autumn and winter in the south, but that’s no longer happening since my husband is no longer able to travel. So now we’re making completely different plans for fall and winter: What winter gear do we even have at home? Gloves? Hats? Scarves? Wool blankets? Boots?
So I’m going to start slowly going through our belongings and restocking as needed....
Get well soon, Andrea.
Unfortunately, the nights here are still quite warm; we keep everything open at night—all the windows and the balcony door—but it doesn’t get much cooler inside the apartment. Right now, it’s back up to 28 degrees outside.
It’s a pleasant 21 degrees here. It’s comfortable enough to spend time on the sunny balcony again. Of course, it cools down again in the evening, so you can breathe deeply and air out the place.
