Oh, the ladies before me are showing such beautiful blankets. I could almost be tempted, but honestly, I like mine quite a lot too—if not even better ;-) Just take a look for yourselves at what I’ve picked out for you. I have lots of blankets in my shop; these are my three favorites.
I hope you enjoy looking and making them yourselves.
Warm regards from Ina
Knitted Blanket with Fringe
I especially like this one because it is super easy to knit using only knit stitches. It does take a little perseverance, though. But if you knit a few rows every evening while watching TV, you’ll be finished in no time. We also don’t have to weave in any ends, because we simply knot them into decorative fringe.
Just choose yarns in colors that go well together, and then you can get started right away. Leftovers can be used too, because we knit each row in a different color.
Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares
This one is crocheted. First we crochet lots of squares, all exactly the same, just in different colors. Then we crochet them together. Add a border around it, and you have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind blanket in your favorite colors. The squares are great little projects to crochet on the go.
Timeless Baby Blanket Made of Merino Wool
All babies, children, and parents love it. Because the blanket is wonderfully soft, since it’s made of merino wool. And it is warm and breathable, and you can even wash it in the washing machine. I’ve knitted it many times already, and everyone loves this blanket. A few months ago, my son wanted one in “mustard colors” for the new baby, because he thinks that’s cooler than pink. Here you go. I took a picture for you right away.
