Today I’ll show you how to make beautiful surprise gift packaging with cardboard rolls. The cardboard rolls are crocheted around with a figure whose upper body can be removed. That way you can hide a nice surprise inside: a voucher, something sweet, a lovely little note, or even a cash gift.

"Live - Love - Laugh" — that’s a wonderful motto for this weekend :-) Today I’m showing you two different patterns to go with it. 




Knitting pattern for the "Live Love Laugh" placemat — very easy — For this placemat, you only need to know knit and purl stitches. In the pattern, every row is written out stitch by stitch, so knitting it is very easy.





Knitting pattern for the cloth / washcloth "Live Love Laugh" — in double-face — You can knit this cloth as a dishcloth or washcloth. With pure cotton in yardage 125 m / 50 g or thicker, you can also make potholders from it. The cloth is knitted in double-face, so both sides look beautiful.

This weekend, you can make a doll mom very happy by dressing her dolls (35–40 cm) in new outfits. For example, with this little dress, which is very easy to knit. It is described in different sizes, even for a 46 cm doll.

You don’t need much yarn for children’s hats. This style, with its lace pattern and rolled brim, knitted with a summer yarn, can easily be worn through the fall. 



You often have leftover cotton yarn, which works well for dishcloths. I like to crochet them in between projects to stock up my gift box. 

The pattern only goes over one row and makes a lovely project for a few relaxing hours in the garden. 



Knitting socks is always a good idea... these spiral socks are knitted without a heel. This means they fit a range of sizes—which is especially handy for children’s and guest socks.
