For this weekend, I’m introducing a few crochet patterns where you can not only use up leftover yarn, but also reuse cardboard rolls and packaging.



An empty jam jar becomes a very personal gift package for your homemade sweets when you crochet a pretty cover for the lid.
The candy jar with monkey and palm tree  is especially perfect for homemade coconut cookies ;-))



The bride and groom of this wedding couple were each crocheted around an empty Kinder Surprise egg capsule. This way you can open the two at the belly and hide a surprise inside (voucher, cash gift, or something similar).



The Queen’s 70-year Platinum Jubilee! Were you in London? No? But you’d love to take another trip to London?
This royal guardsman is crocheted around a cardboard toilet paper roll. The upper body can be removed, so you can hide a little surprise inside the soldier: English candies, for example, or perhaps a voucher for an English course or a trip to London.

A lovely summer shawl that I enjoy wearing in the evening is this crocheted triangular shawl made with Tahiti summer yarn. The shawl is crocheted from the bottom up, and you can choose the size individually.
