Knitting pattern for a blanket - a cable-like look without any cable pattern. You’ll only be knitting knit and purl stitches.

Socks are always a good project to work on while watching TV, especially when they’re knitted without a heel. Spiral socks adapt to the shape of the foot thanks to the pattern, and since there’s no heel, they fit across several sizes. This is especially useful for children.

This crocheted blanket is worked in spiral rounds. The pattern is only one round long, so you can devote yourself (almost) entirely to the movie.....

These washcloths/dishcloths with hearts are perfect for knitting on the side. They’re also suitable for beginners with basic skills.

The “Little Hearts” doll blanket is also very easy to knit. You can even scale up the size to make it a baby blanket.

This hat for dolls or babies is very easy to knit, even though the pattern may look complicated. A quick project using leftover yarn for when you have a few spare moments.

If you want to do some crafting while watching TV or having coffee with friends, you need a pattern that doesn’t require too much attention or counting. I can offer you suggestions for various types of crafts:

Crochet:

The “Autumn Leaf” shawl is crocheted using only double crochets. At first, it’s worked like a star-shaped blanket, with increases at the points. Later, the points are worked individually. The color gradient comes from the skein itself, so you don’t have to worry about color changes.

Tunisian crochet:

If you’d like to try Tunisian crochet, this bag is a great way to practice the basic technique without having to worry about color changes or increases. You simply crochet a rectangle using the basic Tunisian stitch. Then, the rectangle is folded origami-style and sewn together. Add a decorative border and a handle—and you’ve got a beautiful market bag!

Knitting:

If you prefer knitting, you might enjoy knitting the “Blue Lagoon” sweater while watching TV. It features a simple lace pattern that spans two rows. The sweater is knitted with thin sock yarn, making it wonderfully light. Yet it still keeps you warm on cool evenings. You can also wear it in winter with a shirt underneath.

Here are a few suggestions from me as well for uncomplicated handmade projects that are great to work on while watching TV. All tried and tested by me and found to be excellent. Thick yarns, easy patterns—that works really well. I hope you enjoy browsing and making them.

Warm regards from Ina

Timeless Baby Blanket in Merino Wool
Perfect for all babies and children. The blanket is soft, breathable, warm, and can be washed in the washing machine. I always enjoy knitting it as a welcome gift for a baby or for a 1st or 2nd birthday. Parents and children simply love it and carry it everywhere. The pattern is very clear and you can quickly memorize it.

Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares

This blanket is crocheted together from many small squares. And the individual squares, which are all crocheted exactly the same way, just in different colors, are wonderful to crochet while watching TV. That way, you can get this labor of love done almost on the side. In the end, you have a unique blanket in your favorite colors.

Knitted Blanket with Fringe

This is the perfect blanket for using up leftovers and for beginning knitters with stamina. We knit only knit stitches and don’t have to weave in any ends. This blanket is wonderful to knit while watching TV.
