Relief patterns or raised patterns look great; they are slightly three-dimensional, but you should know that they also use a bit more yarn. Here are a few lovely examples from me. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina
Crochet pattern Endless Blanket
Here we crochet around in a square using one or two Bobbel yarn cakes. You can make the blanket as large as you like, or as large as your yarn allows.
This is what the relief pattern looks like up close:
Crochet pattern “Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares”
Here we first crochet lots of colorful squares. Then we crochet them together into a blanket. The special thing about the blanket is the pattern.
Here my grandson is trying to grab the little bobbles. Of course it doesn’t work, but it’s worth a try :-)
Crochet pattern “Water Lily Cushion”
It consists of two round cushion panels that are closed with handmade buttons. The eye-catcher is definitely the thick water lily on the front of the cushion. It is filled and slightly raised. I would place the cushion in a child’s room or on a garden bench.
