A very special one. A little guardian angel for the school cone, meant to dangle from the schoolchild’s school bag and accompany and protect them on the way to school every day. The angel also has a school cone in its arm and wears a school bag on its back.  You can open it and put a little pocket money, Mom and Dad’s phone number, or an encouraging saying inside.

Pencil toppers are very popular with first-graders. They can be crocheted using just a little leftover yarn.
Here, for example, is “The Teacher with Schoolchildren”:

These gym bags make a great gift for the start of school or for kindergarten! The base is crocheted, and everything else is knitted in double-face. This means there are no annoying floats on the inside, and the gym bag becomes very sturdy, so it will be a loyal companion for the schoolchild for many years!

The Knobbly family is perfect for starting school and for any school cone ♥
They help out, give courage, and later hang out on the school bag :-)

The little bag-charm balls come in many variations, so there’s something for everyone ...

The ball guys are about 8 cm in diameter and are explained step by step in all crochet patterns.

These crocheted-over cans are great for storing pencils, fountain pens, scissors, and glue.

They are crocheted in spiral rounds, and leftover cotton yarn works well too.

The first day of school is an exciting day. And to make counting easier, a counting mouse comes in handy. It’s a great gift for first-graders and can be quickly made using leftover yarn.

Using the materials listed, the counting mouse will be about 13 cm tall.

This practical packaging for pencils looks wonderful in a school cone!

After the gifts have been received, it can be used as a storage box for spare pencils and, as a nice bonus, as pretty decoration.

The small gift box, which is perfect for gifting ballpoint pens, pencils of all kinds, and paintbrushes, is made from photo cardstock and decorated with patterned paper.

It measures approx. 22.5 x 4.5 x 5.5 cm and is easy to make with a little crafting experience.
