Hardworking little helpers: Is the sun shining where you are?

dear little helpers,
are you working hard? How’s the weather where you are? 

Dear Josefa, the weather is nice here today and tomorrow. My husband and son are working hard to put up the new greenhouse. It’s all separate parts—a huge puzzle. You really need patience for that.

Yesterday afternoon I was in the garden. I was in Illertissen over the weekend (buying perennials and hitting the flea market). The little flowers are ready to be planted. I hope the ice plant likes its new home.

Today I’m going to the cemetery to check on things. My daughter and grandson are coming along to help. On the way home, we’ll pass at least two playgrounds… the sun is shining brightly—the afternoon couldn’t be any better. 

It’s currently 23 degrees, and yes, theoretically there’s sunshine. In practice, though, it’s obscured by a lot of Saharan sand.

This morning I went into town again for a stroll. Right in front of me, the tram pulled away. But I sat on a bench and let the warm sun shine on me. Wonderful.

When I got home, it was time for coffee on the balcony. It was almost too hot to bear, but that’s just how I like it.
My husband and I had a cold alcoholic drink—a perfect afternoon.

Now it’s time to crochet.

We’ve had nothing but sunshine here, too, and I took advantage of it to go for a little run outside. Unfortunately, I can’t run very far or for very long right now, but at least a little bit is always possible. Then I did some knitting, because even using the sewing machine is too tiring for me at the moment.

We took advantage of the weather and visited the Palmengarten for the first time in a long while.
