Small crochet projects that are easy to finish in a weekend:

This little bunny looks great in the bathroom and makes a wonderful Easter gift! If you’d like to crochet this cute and practical cotton ball dispenser, you’ll only need 100 g of cotton yarn. The cotton balls are inserted through a zipper at the neck and pulled out as a little tail.

You can download the crochet pattern for the “Hase Wolli” cotton ball dispenser here.

For this pretty beaded pouch, you’ll only need 15 g of cotton yarn. The beads aren’t crocheted into the fabric; instead, they’re sewn on at the end.

In white, it makes a wonderful personalized gift for a First Communion or Confirmation (perhaps paired with a rosary). But it’s also a hit when made in the recipient’s favorite color. You can use it to store jewelry, coins, makeup items, or other little treasures.

Download the crochet pattern for the beaded pouch here!

The “Tea for Two” placemat is ideal for a cozy tea time for two. (Of course, you’ll need to crochet two of them.) The filet crochet pattern (just double crochets and chain stitches!) is quick and easy to make. There’s a chart for it, but the instructions are also written out row by row.

Spring can come with the airy, lightweight Jaya triangular shawl; it is made using a hairpin lace loom. In this pattern, I describe exactly how hairpin lace crochet works. The technique is easy to learn. Make the Jaya triangular shawl in your favorite colors and you’ll enjoy it for a long time.
The pattern is available in my Blickfang-Design store.

What might you feel like doing on this sunny spring day? During the day, surely a walk in the sunshine. But in the evening, a little handicraft will certainly be calling you. If you have little daughters or granddaughters, I’m happy to recommend my doll clothes. You can never go wrong with those. They don’t require much yarn, don’t take long, and bring lots of joy to you and the little doll mommies.

Warm regards from Ina

Short summer dress

I especially like this design because it’s very easy to crochet. It closes in the back with snaps, so it always fits well. You can make more than one of them, too :-)

Princess dress

This design is knitted and is simply dreamily beautiful. Thanks to the fluffy yarn, it’s very light, and the skirt holds its shape all on its own. You can make it with or without beads. It’s completed with a sleeve shawl, if you like.

And another princess dress

It is crocheted. To give the skirt some structure, I sewed tulle underneath. You can crochet it in different variations. My granddaughter likes the dresses with rocailles beads best.

For Easter and spring, I have a festive Easter placemat and a little “Sun Salutation” for the weekend :-) Both are very easy to knit, using only knit and purl stitches. The pattern describes each row stitch by stitch, so even beginners can follow along easily.

Right now, I’m completely busy making little gifts for the Easter basket.

All the adults will get knitted dishcloths in their Easter baskets. I’m so excited about them right now that I want to share my joy.

For the little ones, there’s this crocheted cuddly bunny. It’s crocheted in two parts, which are then joined with a round of single crochet at the end.

You can find the Easter-themed patterns in my Easter collection

These funny lucky bug potholders are useful helpers in the kitchen and make a great Easter gift. Very easy for beginners to crochet, too.

Toddlers with a play shop will certainly be delighted to find a shopping bag full of lemons and carrots in their Easter basket. All pieces are also easy for beginners to crochet.

There’s something for knitting beginners, too, that makes a nice gift: washcloths and dishcloths in six different patterns and six different colors.
