Dear Josefa, a lovely and relaxing weekend to you too, and to everyone else. a0
It’s been stormy here for the xth day in a row now. It’s pretty intense, and I don’t really want to go outside. We already had a terrible death in the family because of a storm, so I’m always full of fear. a0
I’ll probably do a lot of knitting and maybe some sewing. Easter is coming, and I have quite a few ideas for the Easter baskets. a0
From now on, I guess we’ll only be able to buy things that are storm-proof. No more lightweight construction. In Brandenburg, we only have two seasons now: either drought and dry weather, or rain and storms.
Oh no, Ina, that doesn’t look good. Maybe it can still be repaired—or you could build a new storm-proof one. I’m sure you have some ideas about what the replacement could look like.
Everything here stayed intact, thankfully. But the storm isn’t over yet—it’s set to hit again on Sunday.
The nice thing is that spring is slowly arriving. Colorful little flowers are popping up everywhere, and the temperatures are pleasant—at least enough to get a taste of what’s to come. The pigeons are already starting to build their nests around here. And the hedgehogs are probably waking up these days, too, and would love some food.
I'm working on the tax return. My husband received his income statement from last year. As someone with a mini job, I don't get one.
A few small items like insurance and medical expenses are still missing.
The storm spared us, but my tax return didn’t—I already finished it and mailed it yesterday, on the only dry, storm-free day.
Today it’s pouring again, and starting tonight, Storm Antonia is supposed to hit, so I’ll be reading, crocheting, drinking tea, and looking out the window. :)
