When you crochet while watching TV, you like simple patterns where you don’t have to count or pay too much attention.

The shawl "Autumn Leaf" has a very simple pattern. It is crocheted with double crochet stitches - at first exactly like a star blanket. Only at the very end are the points worked out. The striped pattern comes from the yarn cake.

The "Playhouse" storage bag can also be made wonderfully in front of the TV. First you crochet a square, and then it goes straight up. The windows and doors are embroidered on at the end, and the little flowers are sewn on as appliqués.

I actually always knit in the evenings while watching TV. The patterns need to be nice and simple, so you can basically do them on the side. When crocheting, I’d have to look where I’m inserting the hook. When knitting, I can do it without looking. Here are my suggestions for you. Timeless Baby Blanket Made from Merino Wool

This is also a lovely, uncomplicated knitting project. We only knit knit and purl stitches. The 4 pattern rows repeat over and over, so you can quickly memorize them. Plus, the yarn is thick, so you make quick progress.
