Weihnachtspost

Ich bin sonst nicht derjenige, welcher Weihnachtspost verschickt. Aber in diesem Jahr habe ich das Bedürfnis, einen weihnachtlichen Gruß an ein paar Freunde und an einen Teil der Familie zu versenden. 

Viele Freunde haben wir dieses Jahr sehr wenig getroffen, meine Tante habe ich nun schon seit 2 Jahren nicht mehr besucht, nicht weil wir uns nicht sehen wollten, es war uns einfach zu gefährlich, da mein Onkel sehr krank ist. 

So haben mein Enkel und ich zusammen ein paar Briefe fertig gemacht. Ich habe geschrieben, er hat ein Bild dazu gemalt. Ein kleiner Gruß der zeigt, wir denken an die anderen, auch wenn wir nicht beisammen sein können.



Habt ihr auch Weihnachtspost versendet? Vielleicht sogar selbstgemachte Karten?

That’s a great idea of yours

I embroidered a few Christmas cards. But I also send emails to some friends and call others. One way or another, I’m sure to get in touch.

I think Ruth’s embroidered cards are beautiful. Especially the one on the right with the little church—it’s simply gorgeous. If I were given one as a gift, I’d put it in a small picture frame. Just calling it a “card” doesn’t do it justice.

But Petra’s grandson’s colorful, hand-painted cards are also beautiful! There’s so much love and warmth in them. They’re not just simple drawings—they’re full of Christmas spirit. And I’m sure you, dear Petra, added a few kind words to each one for the recipients—that surely brings comfort during this time when we can’t meet in person. There’s always a way to show someone you’re thinking of them.

A few special people also get personal Christmas cards from me. But not everyone. Because some people just don’t appreciate it. That’s just how it is.
