Happy St. Nicholas Day

Happy St. Nicholas Day to all of you. How are you celebrating today?

Happy St. Nicholas Day to you too, Josefa! Last night we hung a big St. Nicholas stocking on the door outside. It was filled this morning, ho ho ho :-)

Leo put his shoe outside the door yesterday, and this morning he found a chocolate St. Nicholas figure and a book inside. He was really happy about it.
But last night he also made sure to set some new rules for St. Nicholas.
  I asked him if he’d been good enough for St. Nicholas… He said he didn’t know. But St. Nicholas doesn’t bring gifts to well-behaved children—he brings them to big kids. Oh well :D

Tonight we’re having something delicious to eat; other than that, we won’t be “celebrating” the day :)
