Have you bought yarn / supplies today (or not)?

My last purchase was on July 14, so it’s been a little while.

But on Saturday, I got another request from my grandson. That means I get to go shopping, because, as always, we don’t have the right yarn in stock. 

Yesterday I bought a new knitting needle online. Good tools are important—otherwise your hands get tense. I’m currently knitting felted shoes—always using two circular needles. One is nice (Knit Pro Symfonie) and the other isn’t so nice. It’s the same size, but it’s made of metal and the tips aren’t as sharp as I’d like. So I need a second “good” one. Then knitting is twice as much fun.

And over the last few days, I’ve also bought some new felting yarn online. You always think you’re done with that topic. But no, it always creeps back into my life in the fall. Let’s see if the colors are just as pretty in real life.

I got some new yarn yesterday—not that I didn’t have enough already ;-) I was in the mood for variegated yarn, which I’m now working on.

I ordered some yarn yesterday for my grandchildren’s hats. Now I’m waiting for the post to bring it to me.... 🙈 😊

My yarn has arrived, so now it's time to start knitting....

No, of course not. I found something for my son—it’s going to be a pillow shaped like the Hulk. Of course, I don’t have the right shade of green at home.

That means I’ll be heading out soon to buy some matching yarn. But first, I need to use up some of what I have in stock.  

I bought a skein of Rope for a Christmas gift. Now I just needed the time…

Christina, what exactly is a skein of rope? I can’t really make sense of what I’m finding online. 

I’ll be getting some more yarn in the next few days, too 🙈
2 skeins of merino, 400m/100g.... the color was soooo beautiful and absolutely perfect for my next project.
I just had to have it. I have so much yarn lying around, and there’s that “old” problem again—the right color just wasn’t there 🙈😂🙈

Christina.... is that rope the yarn that’s sold as “braid”? It looks pretty interesting.... I’m sure it has a nice color gradient.
