Summer evenings are something very special: it stays light for a long time, the temperatures are mild, nature is fragrant ... everything is ready for us to enjoy. But once the sun has gone down in the evening and you're already sitting outside somewhere with a cool glass of wine, it can get a bit chilly. In that case, a shawl made of "good wool" is just the thing. The wool helps keep us warm and also balances temperature. And if the shawl is also airy, light, and beautiful, we feel especially comfortable in it. Here are my suggestions for you.
I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina
Scarf with Beaded Lace
It is knitted from feather-light, wonderfully soft cashmere wool. At both ends there is a lace edging with small knitted-in rocailles beads. You choose the colors of the little beads and the width of the lace. It can be worn open for an elegant look or wrapped as a scarf.
Lace Shawl for Beginners
Both knitting beginners and lace beginners should give this scarf with its striking wave pattern a try. The pattern consists of only 2 pattern rows that repeat over and over. It, too, can be worn open or wrapped. The color effects come directly from the ball of yarn.
And if you need something warmer, I recommend this poncho. You simply throw it on and you're warmer right away. But it doesn't restrict you. The sleeves are a little shorter than on other ponchos, so you always have enough freedom of movement for your arms, for example to reach for your wine glass without the sleeve dragging across the table :-)
