Since summer is still taking its time, the long weekend is a great opportunity to get a head start on next winter. So I have three suggestions for cozy cowls with enchanting motifs. All three designs are knitted in double-face and can be worn on both sides. Detailed instructions for the double-face basics are always included.

Maybe we still have to wait a little while for some trips, but we can already dream about them:


For everyone dreaming of England or London: you can crochet this little guard soldier from cotton and a bit of faux fur yarn. The clever part: the soldier is hollow inside and the upper body can be removed. That way you can hide a small surprise inside. Maybe you’re giving someone a weekend trip to London (when that’s possible again)? Then this would be the perfect packaging for the voucher!

Oktoberfest in Munich will be canceled again this year. But a short trip to Munich is definitely still possible. You can also wrap your voucher in this Münchner Kindl. Like the guard soldier above, it is crocheted around a cardboard tube so that the upper body can be removed. Or maybe you’ll fill your Münchner Kindl with a few Bavarian sweets, such as Edelweiß-Kugeln, Nougat-Busserl, or Bier Guadln?

If you have a camper van, of course you’re more flexible when it comes to travel plans. Here, a small box of chocolates (Ferrero Rocher) has been crocheted around to look like a camper van: a wonderful little gift for all camping and minibus fans!

It is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles and doesn’t need much yarn either. I’m sure you can find something suitable in your stash. The doll moms would be happy about new dresses for their dolls. Maybe also an idea for Children’s Day on June 1?
