AnBuCo is a simple cotton poncho. It can be knitted in a single color or in multiple colors.
The stitch patterns are simple and absolutely beginner-friendly, and the size can be changed very easily by knitting it narrower and/or shorter.

Mosaik is a simple triangular shawl made from 300 g of cotton with a yardage of 300 m per 100 g.
The pattern is written out row by row, and some stitch patterns are also explained with charts.
Mosaik is a good project to knit on the side and is suitable for beginners.

Cotton has wonderful properties; for example, it is very skin-friendly and machine washable. That makes it the ideal yarn for projects that come into contact with the skin and need to be washed more often. I really like using cotton or a cotton-bamboo blend for cloths that can be used as a cuddle cloth or a gentle washcloth for the face. Here I have various suggestions for you, all knitted in double-face technique—this makes both sides beautiful and smooth, both visually and to the touch. The border is crocheted in each case.

Beautiful, one-of-a-kind hand puppets can be crocheted from cotton yarn; they are very sturdy and can even be washed.

This pair of summer pants was knitted from cotton, with a beautiful lace pattern for the cuffs.

The pants were knitted with circular knitting needles, and they can be made in sizes 68 + 74.

Dishcloths are knitted from cotton and are currently very popular for the kitchen.

I also prefer to crochet this balloon cover from cotton. That way, the cover can be washed quickly, and the balloon is well protected and ready to use again in no time.

Cotton can be used to make so many pretty things. It’s ideal for children’s clothing or doll clothes because it washes well and is comfortable to wear. Here are a few models that are fun to knit.

This baby pinafore dress fits up to 1.5 years and is easy to knit.

This pretty pinafore dress is even adjustable, so it fits from 6 months to 3 years. It has knitted-in little hearts and looks simply enchanting.

For the dolls of little doll moms, you can crochet this pretty sleeping bag, which fits perfectly in a doll stroller. The pattern explains everything in detail, so even beginners with basic knowledge can manage it well. Dolls up to 50 cm tall fit inside.

Cotton is perfect for the warmer half of the year. It feels pleasant to wear against the skin. Maybe you’ll like my cotton designs? You can find the patterns for them in my Blickfang-Design store.

Here are my suggestions for you. Just take a relaxed look at everything and then fall in love with a project. I hope you have lots of fun making them.

Warm regards from Ina

Reversible Bedding for a Doll Bed

You can sew beautiful bedding for a doll bed from scraps of cotton fabric. The blanket and pillow are filled with washable batting, so the bed can be washed completely if needed. You can also sew the small pillows under the head pillow yourself; it’s very easy. Feel free to let the doll moms choose the fabrics from your scrap box.

Heart Pendant
This is something you can always crochet on the side from scraps and then give to someone dear at just the right moment. It’s never a bad idea, and you can use it as a keychain, a scented hanger in the closet, a bag charm, and so on. Or simply take it with you when you go on a trip or have to go to the hospital. A little heartfelt feeling from the other person is always there with you.

Hanging Storage Basket

Thanks to the cotton yarn, it is nice and sturdy and keeps its shape, too. The storage basket is worked directly onto a clothes hanger, so you can carry it from one room to another. If, for example, a friend comes to visit, you can even sit down on the lawn in the garden with the storage basket. An ideal gift for little girls—if there are already a few hair clips inside, all the better. The pattern for the crocheted flower in the picture is included.
