Mother’s Day or Father’s Day aren’t the only occasions when heart-themed patterns are a good idea. They are also very decorative. Get started with them right away.

The spacious shopping net (approx. 40 x 50 cm) features the word "Mama", framed by a heart. It is very sturdy and also works well as a beach bag. To crochet it, you will need 3 skeins each of cotton yarn in pink and light pink. The net is crocheted using the filet crochet technique, a very simple technique with chain stitches and double crochet that is also suitable for beginners. There is a chart for the crocheted-in pattern, but it is also described stitch by stitch.

Gingerbread hearts that won’t make you gain weight! You can share your own personal heartfelt message on these potholders. The lettering is made from foundation chains that are bent into shape and sewn on.  The potholders can be crocheted as a single layer or double layer (to slip your hand into).
