The Bird of the Year 2021 is the robin. It’s an extremely popular bird, the subject of many legends, and one you often see in the garden. However, it isn’t actually an endangered bird species. Since this year, for the first time, not only experts but all bird lovers were allowed to take part in the vote, this was probably the reason for the decision.
