Where do I add the legal notice?

Hi :-)

I’m new here and currently preparing the first of my self-devised and self-created patterns for sale.

I’ve had a business license for another area for quite some time; it already covers selling creative patterns (I’ve been thinking about it for a long time).

But now I can’t find anywhere here where I can enter my legal notice and withdrawal policy... Terms and conditions aren’t really necessary.
And I can’t find it anywhere...
Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Hey there,

welcome! As an author on Crazypatterns, you transfer the sales rights to Crazypatterns. This means CP is the seller and you are the author. Therefore, CP’s Terms and Conditions and legal notice apply—you don’t need to enter anything here.

Of course, you’ll need to include your contact information in your own patterns.

As soon as your first pattern goes live, you’ll have access to the authors’ forum. You’ll find lots of tips there.

Then I should probably take a closer look at the Crazypatterns terms and conditions...

Maybe someone else is reading this: as a small business, I don’t have a VAT ID number... can I just enter the tax number that the business is registered under with the tax office?

I don’t know. Despite being a small business, I got a VAT ID back then. You can also contact support at any time.

Unfortunately, I can’t find anything in the Terms and Conditions about the relationship between the author and crazypatterns... or maybe I’m just missing something.

Do I transfer my rights to the pattern when I upload it here? So does that mean it no longer belongs to me and I’m not allowed to delete it, sell it elsewhere, or whatever else? Or is it just a temporary sales right that I can terminate, while the rights to the pattern remain with me?
Does anyone have a link to the relevant section on this page for me?

You only assign the sales rights; CP handles the entire process for you. The patterns belong to you, of course; you are responsible for the content, and of course you may also sell them elsewhere.

But it’s best if you first familiarize yourself with Crazypatterns, see how you can upload patterns, and find out what file format you need, what format the images must be in, and so on.
How can your potential customers contact you, etc.? 
Uploading the files isn’t enough; you’re also expected to be available for customer inquiries, since you’re personally responsible for questions about the content, for example.
