This triangular shawl with its pretty lace pattern and waves can also be worn as a poncho. Recommended for advanced crafters.

Small Knitted Triangle Shawl

This triangle shawl was knitted from a yarn that’s 99% cotton. It’s comfortable to wear and simply drapes over the shoulders.

Knitting Pattern for a Triangle Shawl

Start at the tip and knit until you reach the desired size or until you run out of yarn.

You should be familiar with knit stitches, purl stitches, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, and increasing stitches.

Crochet Pattern for a Triangle Shawl

Here, too, you start at the tip and crochet until you reach the desired size. For this project, I also chose the Tahiti yarn by Schachenmayr. It’s a great summer yarn made of 99% cotton.

You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

Shawl Jane

The Jane triangular shawl is just right for spring, and not just because of the colors. The size is ideal too, as it is not too deep. It is the perfect beginner project for crochet beginners, as it consists only of single crochet stitches.
You can find the pattern in my Blickfang-Design store.

Triangular Shawl Nancy

Made of cotton in fresh colors, the Nancy triangular shawl also features airy openings. Just the thing for the warmer season. You can find the pattern in my Blickfang-Design store.

Triangular Shawl Kira

For the Kira triangular shawl, newly added to my Blickfang-Design store, you only need 100 g of yarn. A true lightweight, then. The Kira triangular shawl stands out with its special lace pattern. This lace pattern was made with a hairpin lace loom and is suitable for advanced crocheters. You can get the pattern in my Blickfang-Design store. Feel free to stop by. I’d be happy to have you visit.

The great thing about triangular shawls: you can make them as large as you like.
Just like the following models:

Keikai features lace and cable patterns and is knitted with bamboo yarn.
The 6-page PDF file is suitable for advanced knitters.

The colorful shawl Hashikko is quick to crochet.
It uses 3-ply yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic).

The three-page PDF file is beginner-friendly.

With Ajour you’ll get a romantic triangular shawl knitted with 4-ply yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic).
The PDF file contains two pages and is for advanced knitters.

Triangular shawls are simply lovely! They’re quick to throw on, very decorative, keep your back warm, and always make a wonderful gift for Mom, Grandma, or your best friend.

I can highly recommend this one. What makes it special are the tiny seed beads knitted along the triangular tip. You can knit this beaded edge as wide as you like. The pattern can be extended continuously. The shawl is knitted from super-soft cashmere yarn.

You can wear it open or tied. The triangular tip is narrow and elongates the figure:

I hope you enjoy knitting it.
Warm regards from Ina

If you have some thin yarn left over from a large shawl, you could crochet one for your daughter’s or granddaughter’s little dolls. You can find the free pattern here.

I hope you enjoy this project as well.

Warm regards from Ina
