With these two drawstring bags, you can crochet and knit double-face in one project! The bottom is crocheted in rounds, and the side of the drawstring bag with the pattern is knitted in double-face. This project is a bit more involved and definitely not TV-friendly, but it’s really fun to watch the pattern grow. And the child who receives it will enjoy such a masterpiece for many years!

Treat-Yourself Shawl Eileen

Cluster stitches meet a lace pattern. In the Eileen triangular shawl, the lace pattern alternates with the cluster stitches. The shawl can be worked beautifully with a gradient yarn. The pattern is available in my Blickfang-Design store.

Stole Birutė


With the Birutė stole, not only do the patterns alternate, the working technique changes too. You crochet long strips of loops with a hairpin lace loom and join them with the granny pattern. Hairpin lace crochet is a handicraft technique that can be learned quickly because it is very easy. It’s also lots of fun. I show you how it’s done in a detailed pattern.

Using a variety of patterns, this blanket is knitted.

It is started in the center, and all patterns are knitted with knit and purl stitches. 

I love pattern mixes; they make knitting so beautifully varied.

For these colorful Easter eggs, I used six different patterns and six colors of translucent paper.

With additional colors and other color combinations, you can create even more egg variations and use them to decorate all the surfaces available to you.



The Easter eggs are made from photo cardstock and translucent paper; the large ones measure approx. 10 x 12.7 cm, the small ones approx. 7.3 x 9 cm, and they are all very easy to make.

The “Dreamy” shawl consists of a colorful mix of post double crochet stitches. Each color gradient creates a different pattern. But you can also swap out or omit pattern sets and design your shawl however you like.
