Rachel Triangular Shawl


Use the leftover yarn you have at home; you can mix the colors and materials however you like. You’ll find the pattern for the beautiful Rachel triangular shawl in my store, Blickfang-Design.

For this crocheted triangular shawl , I used many different larger and smaller yarn scraps.

The pattern repeats over 2 rows, and the shawl is worked from top to bottom. This way, you can finish your project once you’ve reached the desired size or run out of yarn.



You can also use a wide variety of materials and scraps when knitting baby booties .

Here I have a pattern that uses slip stitches. This means that each row is always knitted with the same color—there are no color changes within a row. 

The cute cuddly bunny Hoppel is an ideal baby toy. It’s crocheted using three different types of yarn. The varying textures of the yarns constantly encourage the baby to explore their stuffed animal through touch. Velvety, fine chenille yarn is used for the head and limbs, while the body is made from cotton yarn and teddy yarn. Since the body is crocheted with double crochet stitches, you can still easily see and feel the stitches even when working with teddy yarn.

The cuddly cat Mauzi is made in the same way and with the same types of yarn. Like the cuddly bunny, the face is embroidered, and the body isn’t stuffed so that the baby can grip it easily, just like a comfort blanket.
