Even if we can't celebrate New Year's Eve extensively this year, we still want to wish each other all the best for the coming year. Let's hope it will be more pleasant than the last one!

Felix the Little Pig is the ideal lucky charm! He is about 20 cm tall and has dressed up especially for the occasion. A four-leaf clover is tucked into his top hat, and in his little paws he holds out a horseshoe and a lucky mushroom to you. If that doesn't bring luck!

If you want to give a good bottle of wine as a gift for New Year's Eve, wrap it in this original lucky pig bottle cover! It's not difficult to crochet and is sure to be well received as a lucky charm. To crochet it, 2 balls of pink cotton are enough.

These little lucky pigs are crocheted around an empty Kinder Surprise egg capsule. They can be opened, so you can place a small surprise or a note with your good wishes inside. To crochet the surprise lucky pigs, just a few leftover yarn scraps are enough.

You can also crochet the lucky charm appliqués from your leftover yarn. They are suitable as stickers on greeting cards, gift tags, refrigerator magnets, pins, or you can use them as decorations for a lucky charm door wreath.

If you're looking for patterns for lucky charms that are also useful and functional, then crochet a
lucky clover dish sponge
or a

lucky ladybug dish sponge.

The patterns are available individually or both together as a

lucky charm dish sponge bundle.

You can also crochet lucky bugs asladybug egg cozies, and if you're looking for even more lucky charms for the breakfast table, how about the
 lucky pig egg cozies?

For all these projects you only need a very small amount of yarn, preferably cotton yarn.
So, do something for your own luck and the luck of your loved ones, and crochet these wonderful lucky charms—then nothing can go wrong in 2021!

The snowman is very easy and quick to crochet using sponge yarn. The smooth fringes of the sponge yarn reflect light, making the snowman sparkle beautifully.

You can use the snowman as a fun bath sponge—or as winter décor. With an LED string light, the snowman becomes a glowing decoration.

Suitable for beginners.

You can crochet these snowflakes in three designs super quickly from small leftovers of white scrubby yarn and use them in lots of ways for decoration, for example as tree ornaments, window decorations, or gift tags.

The smooth fringes of the scrubby yarn reflect light, making the snowflakes sparkle beautifully. And since scrubby yarn holds its shape very well, you don’t have to block and stiffen the snowflakes separately, saving yourself a time-consuming step.

To keep your home beautifully decorated even after Christmas and avoid having too much work all at once when redecorating, you can start right after the holidays by gradually replacing all your Christmas decorations with winter ones. That way, you’ll be perfectly set for winter by Epiphany.

You can also soon swap out your Christmas tea light holder for this snowflake tea light holder. It’s made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 13 x 1.8 x 11 cm. With a bit of crafting experience and a little artistic talent, the holder is very easy to recreate.

If you want to bring a bottle of sparkling wine to a party—or have any other reason to give a nice bottle as a gift—but don’t want to use a boring paper bag, then maybe try Pinky, the lucky pig-shaped bottle sleeve. Pinky is quick to make; even beginners can handle it, and everyone could use a little luck... see the pattern

This wintry window decoration is a wonderful project to keep you busy during the holidays.

The picture is made from photo cardstock and transparent paper and measures approx. 65 x 47 cm. It is cut out directly using the template, so it does not have to be painstakingly transferred onto the photo cardstock. This way, after joining the template pieces, you can get straight to the enjoyable part of the crafting.
