Is everything ready for Christmas?

Are you done with your Christmas preparations?

Yes, everything’s all set, Josefa. Bring on Christmas—it’s going to be a very quiet one this year.

We still need to go shopping for the Christmas dinner, and a few gifts still need to be wrapped. Then we’ll be all set.

There aren’t that many gifts this year. We bought exactly one gift for each person, because that feeling of “ooooh, do I have enough now?” was getting on my nerves.

Other than that, it doesn’t take much to be happy :) 

Dear Josefa, are you all set for Christmas, too?

I certainly am. I cleaned the house today, and the presents are wrapped. Tomorrow, I’ll decorate the tree with my grandson. And I still have to cut my husband’s hair.

Since we’re celebrating quietly, yes, everything is ready. We don’t exchange gifts. Instead, we’re making ourselves comfortable and enjoying a delicious meal.
