I embroidered some window decorations using lace; they just need to dry now, because these pieces are embroidered on a water-soluble backing that is then washed out, which is what gives the designs their shape.

That’s really interesting—I didn’t know there was water-soluble stabilizer. The three window decorations look very nice. Thank you so much for sharing them.

Have you digitized the designs yourself?
I’m still experimenting with digitizing...
I’ve already done some embroidery too; some of it turned out well, but not all of it. The background and design come out too thick and cramped for me.
If only the day had a few more hours 😋, at the moment I haven’t been able to get to it much.
But winter is coming, and it’s "long" 😊

Beautiful. I especially like the angel holding the star. Or maybe the orange star? I’m blown away.
