Forest walk at Zabelstein in Lower Franconia—it’s only 25 km away

The colors are so beautiful right now. When there’s a little sunshine too, it’s just wonderful. You took some beautiful pictures.

You still have so many leaves on the trees; here, everything is already bare.
So thank you so much for the wonderful fall photos. The picture with that root almost looks like an animal with lots of arms. All the pictures are very beautiful; I especially like the last one with the trees. I’m imagining it right now as a wall or door poster—it’s gorgeous.

I currently have the Nikon 7500 and a Sigma 105mm lens on my camera; I like macro photography, but I can also use it as a telephoto lens. The camera was a gift from my husband for our 30th wedding anniversary in May.
At home, when I’m photographing my sewing and embroidery projects, I use my Nikon D90
