"Warm through the winter" - a lovely theme. The prerequisite for warmth is a material that really keeps us warm. For me, there is nothing better than wool. Here are my suggestions for you. You can find more pictures, information, and the pattern by clicking on the headings.
I hope you enjoy looking at, making, and wearing these items.
Warm regards from Ina
Scarf with Beaded Edge
This keeps you warm because it is knitted from cuddly-soft cashmere wool. I don't know any softer wool, and I love wearing it myself. As a chic detail, it has small beads knitted into the edge.
Warm Poncho
It is knitted as a top-down raglan and can be adjusted to any size. Just throw it on and feel warm and cozy in it.
Felted Boots with Roll-Top Cuffs
Everyone is guaranteed to have warm feet in these. You can knit them in all sizes: first the foot, then the roll-top cuff separately. The washing machine takes care of the felting. The cuff is sewn on after felting.
Universal Cowl
This is quick to knit for the whole family. You always need one. And if it is knitted from real wool, it will keep you warm too.
Wrist Warmers
If you want warm hands while still keeping your fingers free, you need wrist warmers. These are especially decorative thanks to the cable on the top. The thumb is well shaped, so they fit perfectly.
Felted Moccasins
These are, so to speak, the little sister of the felted boots. The felted moccasins are not as high, but they keep you almost just as warm. They are perfect for homes with underfloor heating, because they are breathable and simply release excess warmth through the felt to the outside. They are perfect for travel too.
Baby Kicking Bag
Babies in particular need a lot of warmth to feel comfortable and maintain their body temperature. Of course, they want to kick their legs in winter too, but they shouldn't get cold while doing it. A kicking bag is ideal here: the tummy and kidneys are wrapped up warmly, while the feet can kick around in the kicking bag to their heart's content. It keeps them reliably warm and is breathable, because it is made from cuddly-soft fine merino wool. The colors come straight from the ball of yarn.
One-Step Felted Booties
I like these very much too - namely because they reliably keep feet warm. But also because you can knit this higher felted-shoe version in one piece. The washing machine takes care of the felting.
Turtleneck Sweater
Our little dolls don't want to freeze either. A little sweater can be knitted quickly from a bit of yarn. This one is knitted as a top-down raglan and therefore has no seams.
The Ice Princess's Coat
This is also a beautiful new garment for winter. You'd almost like to have it in a large size for yourself, wouldn't you? It is also knitted as a top-down raglan.
