These arm warmers with a mock cable pattern look especially pretty and also go well with any elegant outfit. I wear them in winter because my hands often get cold.

The cable pattern consists of knit and purl stitches. You should already have a little knitting experience. Then it’s quite easy. The pattern includes a chart.

I knitted these wrist warmers for her and him from leftover merino yarn. The pattern is very easy to copy and is therefore also well suited for beginners with some knitting experience.

These wrist warmers are also very easy to knit - with a slip-stitch pattern. Leftover yarn is enough for them too.

I love arm warmers too, because they still leave your fingers free. The wrist warmers still keep you warm, though, if they are made from “good wool.” I also like knitting these wrist warmers for young girls, who are always busy with their phones—proper gloves would be out of place here.

My wrist warmers feature a striking cable on the top. The inside is knitted in stockinette stitch so nothing presses. For the perfect fit and freedom of movement for the thumb, they have a thumb gusset. I show and describe exactly how it is knitted.

They look beautiful in solid colors or in gradient yarns. Click here for more examples, information, and the pattern.

I hope you enjoy making them—yours, Ina

Oh, and I have something special to share… a free knitting pattern for Deluxe Wrist Warmers. They’re “Deluxe” because they’re knitted from my favorite yarn. My absolute favorite yarn is “Superior” by Filatura di Crosa—it’s made from Italian cashmere and a touch of silk. In any case, it’s very soft and delicate, yet still warm. Since I love knitting shawls and loop scarves with it (see also the products in my shop), I sometimes have leftover yarn. 12 to 15 g is enough for a pair of wrist warmers.

Click here for the free pattern.

I hope you enjoy making them. Yours, Ina

Knitting pattern for mittens - Baby

Knitted with slipped stitches, this model is also a great way to use up your yarn scraps. This model is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles.

Wrist warmers and fingerless gloves - they’re an indispensable accessory for me during the cold season! Maybe you know the feeling too: especially when I sit at my desk for a long time, my hands get cold very quickly - but not when I’m wearing wrist warmers! Here are my most popular patterns to knit:

"Feathers and Lines" - my own personal favorite wrist warmers, delicate and playful and wonderful to knit, because the different patterns flow into one another so logically! A design for which you can also use 4-ply sock yarn beautifully!
Click here for the pattern: Wrist warmers "FEATHERS AND LINES"

Another really exciting design is the "Lotus" wrist warmers - with a three-dimensional pattern that looks fantastic on both the outside and the inside! When wearing them, simply choose your favorite side, or alternate and wear them one way sometimes - and the other way round at other times...

And last but not least: the fingerless gloves "Highland Mitts" - a classic cable-pattern design that, for a change, men can wear too! I’ve written the pattern in 3 sizes, so everyone from small women’s hands to large men’s hands can find their perfect size! And you can knit them in 2 versions: a slightly more rustic version with a wide fold-over cuff and a knitted-on thumb, or a slightly more delicate version with a simple cuff and thumb hole!
Wouldn’t that make a wonderful Christmas gift for your loved one?
Then grab the knitting pattern right here: Wrist warmers "HIGHLAND MITTS"

So, now you’re spoiled for choice, or you can simply knit them all for yourself, because - you really can never have enough wrist warmers! ;-)

Happy knitting,
Annette

Dreamy, elegant, and beautiful—that’s what the “Fairy Forest” wrist warmers are. Embark on a journey in the early morning hours, when the first rays of sunlight touch the treetops and nature’s fairies breathe new life into the world...

An intricate cable pattern adorns the back of the hand, flowing into the treetops of a stately tree and crowned by a jagged edge reminiscent of dragons. Keep your hands warm while still retaining full dexterity. On cold days, these wrist warmers awaken a longing for the magical power of spring.
