Oh, you’re in luck ... In my shop there is a free pattern for a pretty little tealight holder made from a jam jar. It can be used as a decoration indoors or outdoors in any season.

I hope you have lots of fun with this little project.
Best wishes - Ina

Three great Halloween decorations all at once, lit with LEDs and crocheted from a few scraps of leftover yarn:

The Bat String Lights

and

The Halloween Lantern

and finally

 the illuminated skull.

All 3 decorative pieces look great even unlit, but they become especially spooky when it gets dark and you turn on the lights!

With this pattern, you can crochet around jars in a wide variety of sizes using the yarn of your choice, giving old jars a second life—in the spirit of conserving resources, DIY, and upcycling.

This creates beautiful lantern jars, which you can make for both outdoors and indoors.

If you’d also like to make candles yourself from old candle remnants, you’ll find the pattern for candle making here (the part for crocheting around the containers is the same as above).

Have fun crocheting :)

These cute little angels have already been made over 2,000 times: they’re quick and easy to crochet in one piece—only the halo is worked separately. Place an electric tea light underneath, and they glow magically in the dark.

These pretty little baskets are the perfect size for an LED tea light, but they’re also wonderful for presenting small gifts. A mini flower garden looks absolutely enchanting in them, too.

Whether as a St. Martin’s lantern or a nightlight: This design looks great in any situation and is beautiful both in daylight and in the dark, especially when lit from the inside!

The lantern is made of cardstock and tracing paper and measures approximately 23 x 18.5 cm; it’s easy to make and requires no special skills.

This small table lantern fits any decor, since it can be made from cardstock (or similarly sturdy paper) in any color you like. Thanks to the simple outlines of the cutouts, it’s very easy to recreate and quick to finish.

The lantern is made of cardstock and tracing paper, measures approximately 10 x 7.5 x 10 cm, and is suitable only for LED lights.

The cute snowman is crocheted very simply and quickly from sponge yarn.
The smooth, shiny fringes of the sponge yarn reflect the light, making the snowman sparkle beautifully.

You can use the snowman as a sponge for bathing and showering.
You can also equip the snowman with an LED string light (explained in the pattern and shown with photos) and use it as lovely winter décor.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for ambitious beginners with a little practice.
Required skills: magic ring, crocheting in rounds and rows, chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and front post double crochet.
The written crochet instructions, many detailed photos, and the crochet charts for the beanie hat and scarf will help you successfully crochet the snowman step by step.

You can get the crochet pattern for the snowman here

You’ll find several tea light cover patterns in my shop.
For the upcoming Advent and Christmas season, you’ll find snowmen and reindeer as a set under this link: Snowmen/Reindeer Value Set
You'll also find more tea light ideas, such as unicorn tea light covers or
[link removed], in my shop.
The little covers are very quick to knit and are always a huge hit with the recipients.

The Starlight lanterns can be crocheted very easily and quickly in different sizes. Medium and large lanterns are lit with LED string lights, which really show off the stars in the effect film, and the small lantern with an LED candle or an LED tealight. The small lantern can also be used as a storage basket.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for ambitious beginners with a little practice.
Required skills: crochet start with a magic ring, crocheting in rounds, chain stitches, single crochet, multiple treble crochets, slip stitches.

You can find the crochet pattern for the Starlight lantern here

Yes - brand new in my shop:

The illuminated star is easy to crochet, even for beginners with a little practice.

The effect film turns an LED string light with small lights into beautiful, three-dimensional-looking stars that create a romantic mood.

You can hang the light-up star on a door or wall, or use it as decoration on a table or shelf.

The crochet pattern includes written crochet instructions and the crochet chart for the star, and of course step-by-step photos so you can successfully make the light-up star yourself.

You can get the crochet pattern for the light-up star here
